A lista de nomeados para concorrer ao Emmy 2024 foi divulgada nesta quarta-feira (17) e uma nova recordista chama a atenção. Aclamada pela crítica especializada e queridinha nas redes sociais, a série O Urso (The Bear) conquistou diversas nomeações por sua 2ª temporada, que coinscidentemente estreia hoje no Brasil.
A dramédia tem 23 indicações na principal premiação da TV norte-americana, superando o recorde anterior de 30 Rock, sitcom da NBC, que angariou 22 indicações em 2009. No campo do drama, Game of Thrones ainda é a recordista, com 32 indicações em 2016.
Entre os dramas, com 25 indicações no total, a líder foi “Xógum”. Já “True Detective: Night Country” se destaque dos concorrentes em minissérie, antologia ou filme para TV, com 19.
Todos os programas e séries que concorrem a essa edição foram exibidos entre 1ª de junho de 2023 e 31 de maio de 2024 e concorrem as categorias de drama, comédia, minissérie, antologia, filme para a TV, reality shows, realities de competição e programas de variedades. A cerimônia de entrega dos prêmios será realizada em 15 de setembro em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos.
